#1 Write a personal welcome note

Use creative thinking when writing the letter. It’s easy to use “corporate” speech, so instead, allow the letter to represent a thoughtful note you would enjoy reading personally. Keep in mind, even though the event is business, your guest will most likely view it as entertaining and fun; outside their normal day to day work routine.
